We’re thrilled to announce that Oscar Salem will be joining the cast of the second season of BBC Drama ‘Vigil’, the most popular BBC show in 3 years.
The first season, which launched in August 2021, saw Suranne Jones take on the role of DCI Amy Silva, who was tasked with uncovering the cause of a suspicious death on board the titular nuclear-powered vessel. DS Kirsten Longacre was also involved in investigating the death- but on land.
Synopsis for the Second Season reads: “Following unexplained fatalities at a Scottish military facility, Silva and Longacre are tasked with uncovering the cause. Entering the hostile and closed ranks of the air force, the pair must face the deadly warfare of tomorrow as they fight for their own future”
Vigil will begin filming in Scotland and Morocco in Spring 2023.
