The ghost with the most is back! 35 years after the original film’s 1988 release, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice is finally getting a sequel entitled ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ which will star our Arthur Conti as a leading role.
After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter, Astrid, accidentally opens the portal to the Afterlife. The sequel will also star Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Monica Belluci and Michael Keaton returning as his iconic role.
‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ will open the 81st Venice Film Festival on August 28th and will be available to watch in theatres on September 6th.
