Based on the book The Queen’s Gambit by Elizabeth Freemantle, Firebrand follows the marriage of Katherine Parr and Henry VIII towards the end of the monarch’s life. We see Katherine navigate the perilous political landscape that is the Tudor court, while risking her life to enact religious reformation.
