The Benjamin Franklin biopic led by Michael Douglas premieres on Apple TV next week.
In December 1776, Benjamin Franklin is world-famous for his electrical experiments, but his passion and power are put to the test when he embarks on a secret mission to France, with the fate of American independence hanging in the balance.
Jack Archer plays the role of Thomas Grenville. The son of the British Prime minister sent across to negotiate with Franklin and John Adams as to how America will be divided. Alongside Douglas the cast includes Noah Jupe, Eddie Marsan, Daniel Mays and Thibault de Montalembert.
Each episode of the eight-part series will be released weekly on Apple TV.
