We are thrilled to announce that Eve Austin has joined the leading cast of This Town.
Written by Steven Knight, the series is set to explore the rise of Ska and two-tone music, drawing on the experience and characters Knight grew up with. The story focuses on how the genres came to unite youths from different backgrounds and ethnicities throughout the 70’s and 80’s in Coventry and Birmingham.
Produced by Kudos and Nebular for the BBC, in collaboration with Mercury Studios, the six-part series will be directed by Paul Whittington (The Crown). Production started in Birmingham in November with a release date to be announced.
